Distinctive contours and horizontal lines make the new M-Class more masculine and athletic. Other contributing factors include the modified proportions: the vehicle is now wider while the roof height has been lowered.

The distinctive radiator grille with three chromed slats and large centre star plus the front bumper with the pronounced, large underguard in chrome look define the self-confident character of the front view.

Straight LED daytime driving lamps are integrated in the front bumper, and masculine powerdomes on the bonnet let the SUV athlete shine powerfully from the front.

The elongated lines of the side view emphasise the on-road character, and the characteristic C-pillar in hallmark M-Class style makes the new M-Class unmistakable. A roof line descending to the rear and roof rails in chrome look highlight its sportiness.

The lower roof height at the rear and the horizontal lines in the tailgate, LED tail lights and rear bumper combine to produce a powerful rear end. The design appears to be cast from a single mould with continuous tail lights and flowing transition from the rear side windows to the rear window.

The large tailgate with a high-gloss handle and the rear bumper with reflectors positioned on the side create a lasting impression. The integral load sill guard and the large underguard in chrome look stylishly cap off the elegant character of the new M-Class.

The sporty, elegant character of the new M-Class can also be appreciated in the high-grade interior. The interior is designed for optimum ergonomics and maximum practicality for the driver and passengers.

The horizontal line and emphasis on width extend in full force to the interior. The sporty cockpit with 4-spoke multifunction steering wheel and modern two-tube instrument cluster is arranged to meet the driver’s requirements as best as possible.

Large expanses of trim made out of aluminium or wood, controls in silver chrome, and high-quality control wheels for the head unit, air conditioning and controller in a uniform design make each operation an enjoyable experience.

As an option the spacious, light-filled interior with the panoramic sliding sunroof can be flooded even more with light. Optional extras include the instrument panel and door beltline in ARTICO man-made leather, the roof lining in designo black fabric and ambient lighting which lend the interior an entirely individual character.

Two cup holders in the centre console highlight the love of detail (option of tempered cup holder with cooling and heating function).
