The 4MATIC drive train in the GLK is among the powerful four-wheel drive systems from Mercedes-Benz. The basic drive torque split is 45 to 55 percent to the front and rear axles, respectively. This and its intelligent interaction with the Electronic Stability Program ESP速, Acceleration Skid Control system, as well as the electronic traction control 4ETS, all enable effortlessly superior vehicle handling - under the most diverse conditions. The four-wheel drive system distributes the driving force optimally to the four drive wheels, thus increasing traction.
The new GLK 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is available exclusively with rear-wheel drive.
